So you've heard about Sudoku, that crazy-wild numbers game that may be from Japan, or maybe from America, or so one of your buddies told you. But you're just not really sure about anything. Not anything substantial, or even paltry and insignificant. The world is a shambles, it seems, and nothing seems to be going right in your personal life, either. Thank God for Sudoku.

Only now you're staring at a blank Sudoku grid and asking yourself what you're going to do. You've played the game before and you understand the ultra-simple rules, though, again like the real world, though the rules seem to be easier than making a spaghetti and red sauce, the reality is that the spaghetti of life seems to keep sticking in the bottom of the pan; so too with your game of Sudoku.

A blank Sudoku grid is a beautiful thing. Someone once said the same thing about a blank piece of paper. The reasoning went that though a piece of paper is blank, this is not to say that it is without worth, for its great value is in its possibility. An empty sheet of paper reflects the possibility of being etched with a glorious charcoal picture, a world-shattering mathematics equation, or a short story that is forever remembered by all who read it. So it is too with a blank Sudoku grid.

This may seem a bit airy and in the stratosphere, but consider the facts. First, Sudoku is a game that stimulates the brain. This stimulation is sure to result in a greater understanding of relationships, as it is in Sudoku, whether the relationships are of special objects in a problem that you're working through in the real world, in a more abstract way, or simply in a relationship with a man or woman, boy or girl that you know. Of course, this person may be anyone: father, mother, boyfriend, wife, little brother, older sister, boss, grandmother, or uncle. Whomever.

The point is that by abstract thinking, as guided by a blank Sudoku grid, the limits are nonexistent. It is through imagination, however it be represented, that our problems go from resolution on paper and in our minds into the working world. Listen, do you hear that? The celestial spheres are singing.
